Shortly before David Stoneman’s wife Gail lost her 10-year battle with ovarian cancer in October 2020, she wrote down a list of all the things she wanted to do, and asked that David do them on her behalf.
The first thing on the list was a skydive, so in May 2023, David, from Chulmleigh, took to the skies to honour Gail’s wish and raise an incredible £800 for the Royal Devon Hospitals Charity’s Fern Centre, a cause that was very close to her heart.
Gail raised thousands of pounds to help build North Devon’s cancer and wellbeing centre, and David’s fundraising will help ensure the centre continues to be there for local cancer patients and their families. Thank you, David.
